“Can you name the buyer in one line: role, size, sector and trigger?”
“Mid-market companies” scores 0. The scorecard asks for the role, the company size, the sector and the event that makes them look, plus a list of twenty named accounts that fit.
Before a launch, a new channel or a new website, score your go-to-market on six dimensions: buyer, message, offer, channels, sales assets and measurement. Twenty-four statements, each scored 0, 1 or 2, show your weakest point in one sitting. It is a self-check, not a verdict.

The same six dimensions behind every Go-to-Market Build
What sends a launch from “ready” to “leaking”
Each comes straight from the scorecard. It is not a verdict. It maps what a go-to-market build would fix first.
“Can you name the buyer in one line: role, size, sector and trigger?”
“Mid-market companies” scores 0. The scorecard asks for the role, the company size, the sector and the event that makes them look, plus a list of twenty named accounts that fit.
“Has a customer ever repeated your positioning back in their own words?”
If only the team can say it, it is a slogan, not a position. The message checks also ask whether the website, deck, emails and LinkedIn tell the same story with sourced claims.
“What would make you stop a channel, decided before you launch it?”
Without a stop rule agreed in advance, a weak channel gets another quarter. The measurement checks ask for defined stages, source tracking on every lead and a fixed review day.

What’s inside
Each dimension scores out of 8 and the total out of 48. The weakest dimension matters more than the total: a launch with a perfect message and no measurement still cannot tell you whether it worked.
Who buys, why now, and why your last deals were won or lost.
Whether a buyer would repeat what you do, and whether every claim has a source.
A clear, priced first thing to buy, tested with real buyers.
Where the next twenty buyers come from, and what each one costs to win.
Deck, case study, objection answers and follow-up that let a buyer say yes without a founder in the room.
Pipeline stages, source tracking, a review rhythm and a stop rule for every channel.
How to use it
Score every statement as it is today, not as it will be after next month’s plan. 2 means written down and evidenced.
Add up the six dimensions and read your band: not ready to spend, partly ready, or ready to build.
Name one change that lifts your weakest dimension by two points this month, with an owner and a date.
