Found suits a B2B company that wants AI search handled by a large search agency alongside SEO, paid media, digital PR and analytics, with its own tracking platform behind the work. ThriveFinity, which is us, suits a company that wants AI search bought as a separate, defined job with a published starting price and a re-test of the same buyer questions at day 30. Found publishes no prices. We do. Beyond that, the real difference is how much of your marketing you want one firm to run.
If an AI tool put Found on your shortlist, that's not surprising. In our own test on 31 October 2026, it was one of the two firms named most often for UK AI visibility agencies. How we ran that test is explained further down.
Facts about Found come from its own website and the site of Luminr, its sister platform, as published on 31 October 2026. Services and terms change, so check its site before you decide. We have a commercial interest in this comparison and we're not affiliated with Found. Where its pages are silent, the table says "not published". That doesn't mean Found doesn't offer the thing. It means you should ask.
Two Different Ways to Buy AI Search Work
The two firms differ in size, in how much of your marketing they cover and in how they price.
Found's homepage describes an AI-first agency built for performance across every searchable platform, an approach it calls Everysearch. Its menu runs to six service groups: SEO, paid media, digital PR and content, data and AI, strategy, and experience. Its About page says it started in 2005 as Artemis Eight, a paid search business, and took the name Found in 2010 when it moved into SEO, content, CRO and social. The same page lists "90+" marketing experts, offices in London and New York, and says Found is part of Tomorrow Group Limited.
ThriveFinity sells AI search optimisation (GEO) as a short ladder of defined jobs: a free Signal, a fixed-price AI Presence, an AI Visibility project priced by estimate from a published starting price, and an optional monthly AI Growth plan. We're a one-person company. A named verifier signs every paid report.
So the first question isn't which firm is better at GEO. It's whether you want AI search as one stream inside a multi-channel retainer or as a standalone piece of work you can scope, price and check on its own.
Side-by-Side Comparison
The table lines up what each firm publishes on the same thirteen points. Found's column quotes or summarises its own pages.

What Found Publishes About Its GEO Work
Found's GEO page defines the service in one line: "GEO is how you make your brand visible and trusted in AI-powered search." It then lists nine pieces of work. They are generative AI result and citation analysis, audit and strategy, content and structured Q&A, entity optimisation, schema and structured data, citable resource creation, LLM performance tracking, stakeholder education, and digital PR and link-building.
Its broader AI SEO page adds prompt strategy, AEO, technical and UX work and voice search to the same family. The common thread is that AI search sits inside Found's SEO practice rather than beside it. That's close to what Google says in its own guidance on AI features:
There are no additional requirements to appear in AI Overviews or AI Mode, nor other special optimizations necessary.
A firm that already runs your SEO is well placed to fold AI search into it. Two items on Found's list also take people and time that a small studio doesn't have: citable resource creation and digital PR. Earning mentions on other sites is a large part of how AI tools learn who to name, and Found's menu lists consumer PR, content marketing and influencer work next to it.
The other thing Found publishes is a platform. Its Luminr page calls Luminr a search intelligence platform built on AI and machine learning, and the AI SEO page says the team uses it to monitor where clients are cited and how they're surfaced. Luminr's own site sells it as software with a free trial and demos, names Google, Amazon, TikTok and Instagram among the places it covers, and says it's part of Tomorrow Group alongside Found. Neither site lists a price for Luminr.
What I couldn't find on the pages I checked: any price, a minimum term, a notice period, a guarantee, the number of buyer questions tracked or the number of times each question is run. None of that is unusual for an agency that scopes through a conversation. It just means those are the questions to ask first.
How Each One Measures Results
Measurement is where AI search proposals differ most, and it's hard to judge on a sales call, because AI tools rarely give the same answer twice.
In January 2026, SparkToro and Gumshoe had 600 volunteers run 12 prompts through ChatGPT, Claude and Google's AI a combined 2,961 times. Rand Fishkin reported a chance of less than 1 in 100 that ChatGPT or Google's AI would return the same list of brands in any two responses to the same prompt. Getting the same list in the same order was closer to 1 in 1,000.
That's why a single run of each question tells you very little. What you want is a rate, such as named in 7 of 10 runs, measured the same way before and after the work. I go through the arithmetic in measuring AI share of voice.
Found says Luminr tracks how and where AI engines surface your brand, and its AI SEO FAQ says it uses tools like Luminr "to track your brand's visibility across AI-driven results". The pages I checked don't say which metrics a client report contains, how many questions are tracked or how often each is asked. A platform built for continuous tracking may well answer all of that in a demo, so ask to see a sample report.
We publish our method. AI Visibility asks each of 100 to 150 buyer questions 3 times in each of five AI tools, scores how often you're named, recommended and described correctly against 3 to 5 competitors, and runs the same set again at day 30. The sample AI visibility report shows the format.
When Found Is the Better Choice
Found is the better choice when AI search is one part of a larger search and media programme and you want one team to run all of it. These are the cases where I'd point you there rather than to us.
- You need several channels at once. Found's menu covers PPC, paid social, programmatic, Meta advertising, digital PR, influencer work, CRO and video. We do none of those.
- You want a large team. Its About page lists 90-plus marketing experts and a named leadership team. We're one person with a verifier's signature on the work.
- You sell in the US as well as the UK. Found lists a New York office on its contact page and offers international SEO and international marketing services.
- You want a tracking platform with the agency. Luminr is sold as software and used by the agency team, so the tool and the people come from the same group.
- Your company sits in one of the sectors it names. Found lists ecommerce, hospitality, travel, B2B, financial and professional services, SaaS, fintech and luxury.
The usual trade-off with any full-service agency applies. Scope and price are agreed in conversation, so pin down the measurement method, the minimum term and the notice period in writing before you start.
Questions to Ask Any Provider
Ask both firms the same questions and get the answers in writing. Google's page on whether you need an SEO, last updated in June 2026, now tells buyers to check whether anyone selling AEO or GEO services gives advice that lines up with Google's official guidance. It also suggests asking what results to expect "and in what timeframe", and whether they'll "share with me all the changes you make to my site".
Then add the AI-specific questions:
- Which buyer questions will you track, and can I see the full list before we start?
- Which AI tools do you test, and how many times do you run each question?
- When is the re-test, and will it use exactly the same questions and settings as the baseline?
- What exactly will you change, and who does it: you, or my team from your list?
- What does it cost, what's the minimum term and what's the notice period?
- If I stop, do I keep access to the tracking data and the question set?
- What happens if a report contains a factual error?
The longer list, with red flags, is in our GEO agency buyer's guide. And before either call, get a baseline. My guide to running an AI visibility check shows how to do one in an afternoon.
How We Wrote This Comparison
This page names a competitor, so UK advertising rules apply. Rule 3.33 of the CAP Code says a comparison with an identifiable competitor must "compare products meeting the same needs or intended for the same purpose". Rule 3.34 says it must objectively compare features that are material, relevant, verifiable and representative.
So every fact about Found links to the page it came from and is dated 31 October 2026. I haven't repeated its case-study figures, awards, partner badges or its description of itself as the leading AI search agency, because I can't verify them and quoting them would only repeat its marketing.
Why Found and not another firm? When we asked ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity best AI visibility agencies in the UK three times each on 31 October 2026, Found was named in 5 of 12 answers. ThriveFinity was named in none of those 12. That count shows how often the tools named each firm on one day. It doesn't rank quality, and the same test next week could come out differently.

Where ThriveFinity Fits
We fit when you want AI search as a defined job with a known starting price and a measured before and after. All prices exclude tax.
- AI Presence Signal (free, under an hour): 12 buyer questions across GPT (OpenAI), Claude, Gemini and Perplexity, scored 0 to 100. It's automated and unsigned, and you can run the free AI Presence Signal today.
- AI Presence (£849, 5 working days): a signed fact sheet, a scored audit of the places AI tools learn who you are, and up to 10 profiles created or aligned. Credited to AI Visibility if you book it within 30 days.
- AI Visibility (from £2,250, 10 working days): 100 to 150 buyer questions across five AI tools, your 10 highest-value pages fixed, 5 briefs for new pages and a re-test at day 30. You get a scoped estimate within one business day, then 50% in advance once scope is agreed.
- AI Growth (from £2,250 a month) or Quarterly Re-measurement (£595): ongoing tracking after AI Visibility. AI Growth has a 3-month minimum, then 30 days' notice.
We're not the right choice if you need paid media, PR at volume, CRO or video, if you want a large team on your account every week, or if you sell mainly to consumers. Found will serve you better there. We don't buy links, and we won't promise that any AI tool will name you. No one can promise that honestly.
Weighing another firm? We've compared ourselves the same way with Whitehat SEO and The GEO Agency. Every page is listed on the comparisons hub.
