ClickSlice suits a company, most often an ecommerce or Shopify brand, that wants one London agency to run SEO, Google Ads and AI search together on a rolling 30-day contract. ThriveFinity, which is us, suits a B2B company that wants AI search bought as a separate, defined job with a published starting price and a re-test of the same buyer questions at day 30. ClickSlice publishes its contract terms but not its prices. We publish both. If you sell to other businesses rather than to shoppers, that's the first thing to raise with either of us.
If an AI tool put ClickSlice on your shortlist, it was one of five firms named four or more times in our own test of UK AI visibility agencies on 31 October 2026. The method is further down.
Facts about ClickSlice come from its own website, as published on 31 October 2026. Services and terms change, so check its site before you decide. We have a commercial interest in this comparison and we're not affiliated with ClickSlice. Where its pages are silent, the table says "not published". That doesn't mean ClickSlice doesn't offer the thing. Ask.
A Search Agency or an AI Search Studio
The two firms differ in what they cover and in who they mainly serve.
ClickSlice's homepage introduces "A bespoke SEO Agency in London", with services grouped under traditional search and AI search. Its About page says Joshua George founded the business in 2016, that it took the ClickSlice name in 2017 and that in 2024 it refocused as an ecommerce growth agency, adding web design, development, migration, digital PR and CRO. The page profiles 14 people and gives a studio address in Shoreditch.
ThriveFinity sells AI search optimisation (GEO) as a short ladder of defined jobs: a free Signal, a fixed-price AI Presence, an AI Visibility project priced by estimate from a published starting price, and an optional monthly AI Growth plan. We're a one-person company, a named verifier signs every paid report, and our buyers are B2B companies.
So there are two questions. Do you want AI search inside a wider search and ads retainer, or on its own? And do you sell mainly online to consumers, or to other businesses?

What ClickSlice Publishes About Its AEO and GEO Work
ClickSlice sells AI search as two services, AEO and GEO, alongside a ChatGPT ads service.
Its AEO page names six AI platforms, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, Copilot and Grok, and says new engines are added as they launch. It describes every engagement as mapped to your category, prompts and buyers, and lists Shopify expertise among its reasons to choose it. On terms it says "Month-to-month", which matches its Why ClickSlice page: rolling 30-day contracts and no 6 or 12-month agreements.
Its GEO page lists five parts to the work: a personalised content strategy, contextually relevant content, in-depth semantic optimisation, voice and conversational search optimisation, and continuous adaptation to algorithm changes. On timing, its FAQ is candid. It says GEO is new enough that there isn't the industry data for a confident prediction of when results arrive. I'd say the same about anyone's forecast, ours included.
The GEO page also says GEO is meant to complement SEO rather than replace it. That matches Google's own position:
There are no additional requirements to appear in AI Overviews or AI Mode, nor other special optimizations necessary.
For a company whose SEO already sits with ClickSlice, adding AEO to the same retainer is a short step.
What I couldn't find on the pages I checked: any price, the number of buyer questions tracked, the number of times each is run, or the terms of the money back guarantee its homepage description mentions. Those are the questions to ask on the consultation call.
How Each One Measures Results
AI tools rarely give the same answer twice, which makes measurement the hardest part of an AI search proposal to judge. In January 2026, SparkToro and Gumshoe had 600 volunteers run 12 prompts through ChatGPT, Claude and Google's AI a combined 2,961 times. Rand Fishkin reported a chance of less than 1 in 100 that ChatGPT or Google's AI would give the same list of brands in any two responses to the same prompt. Getting the same list in the same order was closer to 1 in 1,000.
So a single check, or a single screenshot of an AI answer, says little. What you want is a rate across repeated runs, such as named in 7 of 10 runs, measured the same way before and after the work.
ClickSlice's AEO page says you get live dashboards where "You see every prompt, citation and movement, as it happens", that it tracks six-plus platforms, and that success is measured in citations and share of voice. Its Why ClickSlice page adds 24/7 dashboard access and quarterly reviews in person. Seeing every prompt is useful. Ask how many times each prompt is run and how the share of voice figure is calculated.
We publish our method. AI Visibility asks each of 100 to 150 buyer questions 3 times in each of five AI tools, scores how often you're named, recommended and described correctly against 3 to 5 competitors, then runs the same set again at day 30. I go through the share of voice arithmetic in measuring AI share of voice, so you can check anyone's figure, ours included.
When ClickSlice Is the Better Choice
ClickSlice is the better choice when you're an online retailer and want AI search, SEO and paid search run by one team on short terms. These are the cases where I'd point you there.
- You sell online, especially on Shopify. Its About page describes an ecommerce growth agency, and it sells ecommerce SEO and Shopify SEO. Our work is built for B2B buying questions.
- You want SEO and Google Ads as well. ClickSlice runs both. We don't run SEO retainers or ads.
- You want to stop at a month's notice. Its contracts roll every 30 days. Our AI Growth plan has a 3-month minimum.
- You want to meet in person. It says it holds quarterly campaign reviews face to face in London. We're registered in Chennai, so meetings with us are online.
- You want ChatGPT ads. ClickSlice lists a ChatGPT ads service. We don't manage ads.
- You want Copilot or Grok covered. Its AEO page names both. We test five tools, and neither is one of them.
The trade-off is the same as for any agency that prices on a call. Get the monthly fee, the scope and the guarantee terms in writing before the first direct debit.
Questions to Ask Any Provider
Ask both firms the same questions and get the answers in writing. Google's page on whether you need an SEO, last updated in June 2026, tells buyers to check whether advice on AEO or GEO lines up with Google's official guidance, and to ask what results to expect "and in what timeframe".
- Which buyer questions will you track, and can I see the full list before we start?
- How many times do you run each question in each AI tool?
- How is share of voice calculated, and against which competitors?
- When is the re-test, and will it use exactly the same questions and settings as the baseline?
- What does it cost each month, and what does the guarantee cover?
- Can you show AEO or GEO work for a company that sells to businesses?
- What happens if a report contains a factual error?
The longer list, with red flags, is in our GEO agency buyer's guide. To get a baseline before either call, my guide to running an AI visibility check shows how to do it in an afternoon.
How We Wrote This Comparison
This page names a competitor, so UK advertising rules apply. Rule 3.33 of the CAP Code says a comparison with an identifiable competitor must "compare products meeting the same needs or intended for the same purpose", and rule 3.34 says it must objectively compare material, relevant, verifiable and representative features.
So every fact about ClickSlice links to the page it came from and is dated 31 October 2026. I haven't repeated its ROI figures, growth claims, awards, client results or testimonials, because I can't verify them.
Why ClickSlice? When we asked ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity best AI visibility agencies in the UK three times each on 31 October 2026, ClickSlice was named in 4 of 12 answers. ThriveFinity was named in none of the 12. The count shows what the tools did on one day. It doesn't rank quality.
One related observation. ClickSlice publishes a list called 9 Leading AI Visibility Agencies, written by its founder, which places ClickSlice first. Rank4AI, another firm AI tools named in our test, publishes lists of this kind too, and we publish comparison pages ourselves, this one included. Read any publisher's list with the publisher in mind. Our piece on why ChatGPT recommends your competitors covers what tends to shape these answers.
