Solvid publishes its AI SEO prices. So do we. That makes this an easier comparison to write than most, because you can line the two up without guessing.
The harder part is that the two prices buy different things. Solvid's monthly packages are counted in outputs: AI mentions, links, tracking and a dashboard. Our Retrofit is counted in questions: a fixed set of buyer questions, asked before and after the work, so you can see what moved.
Neither model is wrong. They suit different buyers. This page sets out what each one publishes, where Solvid is the better pick, and the questions I'd ask before signing with either of us.
Facts about Solvid come from its own website and Companies House, all checked on 10 October 2026. Prices and services change, so check its site before you decide. ThriveFinity isn't affiliated with Solvid.
Two Ways to Buy AI Search Work
Solvid and ThriveFinity both sell AI search optimisation, often called GEO, but one sells a monthly package of outputs and the other sells a defined project with a re-test. Here's each in a paragraph.
Solvid calls itself an "SEO Agency for Organic and AI Search" on its homepage, and opens by describing itself as "a UK-based international SEO agency with 11+ years of experience in SEO." Its services include SEO, AI SEO, Link Building, Guest Posting, Content Marketing, Digital PR, Copywriting and SEO Audits. Its About page says it was "Established in 2015" and that Solvid is a registered trademark of Solvi & Heirs Ltd. Companies House lists Solvi & Heirs Ltd as active, incorporated on 22 July 2015, with a registered office in London E14.
ThriveFinity sells AI search optimisation (GEO) as defined pieces of work: a free Signal, a fixed-price Retrofit with a re-test at day 30, and an optional monthly Retainer. It's a one-person company, and every paid report is signed by a named verifier.
So the first question is what you want to pay for each month: things placed on other websites, or a measured change on a fixed set of questions.
Side-by-Side Comparison
The table lines up what each provider publishes on the same twelve points. Solvid's column quotes or summarises its own pages as they read on 10 October 2026.

What Solvid Publishes About Its AI SEO Work
Solvid's AI SEO service is an extension of its SEO, content and link-building work, sold in four monthly tiers. Its AI SEO and Generative Optimisation page says a custom plan covers "Website content optimisation for LLMs", "Technical optimisation", "Digital PR, branded link building and brand mentions from relevant media sources", "Semantic keyword targeting" and "LLM visibility and performance tracking".
The same page names the AI tools it works on: ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini, Atlas (ChatGPT's browser), Google AI Overview and Google AI Mode. It also mentions "popular LLMs like OpenAI’s GPT, Gemini, Claude and Grok", and its FAQ adds Perplexity. It describes AI SEO as "sometimes referred to as Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO), Answer Engine Optimisation (AEO) and LLM SEO", which matches how most of the industry uses the terms.
The packages are the most specific part. On 10 October 2026 the page listed Starter at £2,995 a month, Growth at £4,495, Conqueror at £7,495 and Ultimate at £13,995, plus Custom. Each tier sets a monthly number of AI mentions, from "10+" to "60+", and a minimum number of links from sites rated DR50 to DR90, from 5 to 30. Every tier lists the same features: an AI visibility strategy, GEO, branded mentions, semantic keyword targeting, thought leadership, premium backlinks, listicle inclusions, AI visibility tracking and reporting, technical optimisation and an online dashboard. Its FAQ says packages "start at £2,995 ($3,795) + VAT per month".
Solvid also sells one-off SEO audits on its audit page, at £1,195, £1,995 and £2,995, with 8, 14 and 21 day turnarounds. The audit's listed coverage is traditional SEO: technical, on-page, backlinks, content, analytics and competitors. I didn't see AI search in that list, so if AI visibility is your question, the AI SEO page is the one to read.
What I couldn't find on the pages I checked: a minimum term, how many times each prompt is run, or a guarantee. Every package is labelled "Fully-flexible", which suggests short commitments, but I'd still ask for the notice period in writing.
Outputs or Outcomes: What You're Paying For
The real difference between the two offers is the unit you're buying. Solvid's packages are priced on outputs delivered each month. Our Retrofit is priced on a fixed scope and judged on a re-test of the same buyer questions.
An output model has a clear strength. You know what will be done each month, and the work happens off your site, where AI tools do a lot of their reading. Lily Ray, an SEO and AI search strategist, made the point in October 2025:
With AEO/GEO, our jobs as SEOs has certainly evolved to focus more on 'off-site' marketing - especially among the most highly cited sources in LLMs (YouTube, Reddit, Wikipedia, Facebook, etc.)
That's the work Solvid's packages are built to buy at volume: mentions, digital PR, listicle inclusions and links. We don't do it. We don't buy links or placements, and our Retrofit doesn't include outreach.
The trade-off with any output model is that an output isn't the same as a result. Ten mentions in a month tells you work was done. It doesn't tell you whether ChatGPT now names you when a buyer asks for a shortlist. That's why the measurement question in the next section matters more than the package size.
One question is worth asking any provider that builds links or earns mentions for you: how is each one earned? Get the answer in writing. Google's spam policies explain where the line is.
It's also worth knowing why AI answers matter even when you already rank. Pew Research Center tracked the browsing of 900 US adults in March 2025. When a Google AI summary appeared, people clicked a traditional result in 8% of visits, against 15% when there was no summary. They clicked a link inside the summary in 1% of visits.
| Clicked a traditional result, no AI summary shown | 15% |
|---|---|
| Clicked a traditional result, AI summary shown | 8% |
| Clicked a link inside the AI summary | 1% |
Source: Pew Research Center, Google users are less likely to click on links when an AI summary appears in the results, 22 July 2025. Browsing data from 900 US adults, March 2025. US data, so treat it as a direction for UK buyers rather than a UK figure. Chart by ThriveFinity.
So being in the answer matters, whatever you buy to get there.
How Each One Measures Results
Measurement is where AI search proposals differ most, because AI tools rarely give the same answer twice. A single check tells you very little.
In January 2026, SparkToro and Gumshoe had 600 volunteers run 12 prompts through ChatGPT, Claude and Google's AI a combined 2,961 times. Rand Fishkin reported a "<1 in 100 chance that ChatGPT or Google's AI, if asked 100X, will give you the same list of brands in any two responses".
If you give ChatGPT the same request for product recommendations 100X, will you ever get the same list twice?
Here's what each of us says publicly. Solvid's AI SEO page says: "Using various sophisticated tools, we track, collect and analyse your AI visibility data". Every package includes "AI visibility tracking and reporting" and an online dashboard. The page doesn't name the tools, the prompts or how often each one is run.
We ask each of 100 to 150 buyer questions 3 times in each of five AI tools, against 3 to 5 named competitors, then run exactly the same set again at day 30. You get a rate, like "named in 7 of 15 answers", measured the same way twice. If nothing moved, the report says so.
Rand explains why a rate beats a single position in this interview. It's worth watching before any AI search pitch, ours included:
If you want the maths behind a share-of-voice number, I go through it in measuring AI share of voice.
When Solvid Is the Better Choice
Solvid is the better choice when you want ongoing SEO and off-site work every month, at a published price, and you're happy to judge it on what's delivered. These are the situations where I'd point you there rather than to us.
- You want links, digital PR and mentions built for you. Its packages set a monthly number of mentions and links, and its menu includes link building, guest posting, digital PR and thought leadership. We don't do any of that.
- You want SEO and AI search from one team. Solvid sells traditional SEO, content and copywriting alongside AI SEO. Our work is narrower.
- You want a published monthly price with flexible terms. Four tiers are priced on its page, and every tier is labelled "Fully-flexible".
- You sell in the US as well as the UK. It lists a Beverly Hills office as well as London, publishes US dollar prices and has a USA SEO page.
- You're in fintech or SaaS. It has dedicated Fintech SEO and SaaS SEO pages, and lists B2B among many sectors it has worked in.
The trade-off is the measurement method, which the pages I checked don't spell out. Ask for the prompt list, the run count and a baseline before month one.
When ThriveFinity Is the Better Choice
We're the better choice when you want AI search handled as a defined job, with a fixed price, a fixed question set and a dated before and after. That tends to suit a B2B company that wants to know where it stands before it commits to monthly spend.
- You want to see a baseline on 100 to 150 of your buyers' questions before paying for anything ongoing.
- The fixes you need are mostly on your own site: your 10 highest-value pages, structure, facts and schema.
- You want the same questions re-tested at day 30, with every answer kept so you can check it.
- You want a named person to sign the report, and a refund if it contains a factual error.
- Your positioning is part of the problem. AI tools repeat what they read, so if your own pages describe you vaguely, our Go-to-Market Build rewrites the site, deck and emails from one positioning first.
Before you talk to any provider, ours included, Google's Search Central team has a short video on hiring an SEO specialist. The checks it covers apply just as well to AI search work:
How to Decide
Decide on the unit of work first, then the provider. Google's advice on hiring an SEO, updated in June 2026, now tells you to ask anyone selling "AEO" or "GEO" services whether their advice lines up with Google's own guidance. Its page on AI features says: "There are no additional requirements to appear in AI Overviews or AI Mode, nor other special optimizations necessary." My read is that good SEO still does most of the lifting.
Danny Sullivan, described by Search Engine Land in September 2025 as a director within Google Search, said much the same at WordCamp US in August 2025. Search Engine Land reported his line: "Good SEO is good GEO, or AEO, AIO, LLM SEO, or LMNOPO." Here's the full keynote:
Then work through this checklist with any provider:
- Do I want monthly outputs (mentions, links, content) or a measured change on fixed questions? Pick the model before the agency.
- Which buyer questions will you track, and can I see the full list before we start?
- Which AI tools do you test, and how many times is each question run?
- What's the baseline, and when is the re-test on exactly the same questions?
- Where will each mention or link appear, and how is it earned?
- What does it cost, what's the minimum term and what's the notice period?
- What happens if a report contains a factual error?
The longer version, with red flags, is in our GEO agency buyer's guide. If you're also weighing a full-service agency or a fractional CMO, see ThriveFinity vs Exposure Ninja. If you're a B2B SaaS company that needs demand generation too, ThriveFinity vs Gripped covers that route.
How We Wrote This Comparison
This page names a competitor, so UK advertising rules apply to it. Section 3 of the CAP Code says a comparison with an identifiable competitor must "compare products meeting the same needs or intended for the same purpose" and must "objectively compare one or more material, relevant, verifiable and representative feature". The same conditions sit in regulation 4 of the Business Protection from Misleading Marketing Regulations 2008, which also bars comparisons that discredit or denigrate a competitor.
So every fact about Solvid links to the page it came from, and every check is dated. I haven't repeated any of its case-study figures, client results or testimonials, because I can't verify them and quoting them would only repeat its marketing. Where its pages say nothing, the table says so. The method we use for our own claims is on our methodology page, and every comparison we publish is listed on the comparisons hub.

Where ThriveFinity Fits
We fit when you want AI search work as a defined job with a known price and a measured before and after. Every price below comes from our published pricing.
- AI Visibility Signal (free, under an hour): 12 buyer questions across GPT (OpenAI), Claude, Gemini and Perplexity, scored 0 to 100. It's automated and unsigned, and you can run the free AI visibility check now.
- Diagnostic (£349, 3 working days): the diagnosis on its own, credited in full to the Retrofit if you book it within 30 days.
- AI Search Readiness Retrofit (£1,950, 10 working days): 100 to 150 buyer questions across five AI tools, your 10 highest-value pages fixed, 5 briefs for new pages, and a re-test at day 30. Signed by a named verifier, with an accuracy guarantee.
- AI Visibility Retainer (£1,950 a month) or Quarterly Re-measurement (£595): after the Retrofit, if you want ongoing tracking. The Retainer has a 3-month minimum, then 30 days' notice.
- Go-to-Market Build (£3,999, 10 days): if your positioning needs fixing first, a 5-page website, a 20-slide deck and a 3-email sequence written from one positioning.
We're not the right choice if you want links, digital PR or mentions placed for you every month, if you need a team producing SEO content at volume, or if you want one agency for SEO and AI search together. Solvid's packages are built for that. We also won't promise that any AI tool will name you. Our sample AI visibility report shows exactly what you'd get.
Whoever you choose, get a baseline first. It's the only way to know later whether the money moved anything.
