Canlah AI suits a company that wants a monthly, done-for-you programme in Singapore, tracking a small locked set of buyer questions in ChatGPT and Google's AI answers, with off-site work run by its team. ThriveFinity, which is us, suits a B2B company that wants a one-off diagnosis of 100 to 150 buyer questions across five AI tools, fixes to its own pages and a re-test at day 30, with ongoing work only if it asks for it. The two differ most on which AI tools they watch, how long you commit for and what they put in writing.
One thing first. Google's page on whether you need an SEO, last updated in June 2026, tells you to ask anyone selling AEO or GEO services whether their advice lines up with Google's own guidance. That's a fair question for both firms on this page, us included.
Facts about Canlah AI come from its own website and a registry listing built on ACRA data, as published on 31 October 2026. Services, prices and terms change, so check its site before you decide. We have a commercial interest in this comparison and we're not affiliated with Canlah AI. Where its pages are silent, the table says "not published". That doesn't mean it doesn't offer the thing. Ask.
Two Different Ways to Buy AI Search Work
Both firms sell AI search optimisation, often called GEO. The difference is in how the work is packaged and who does it.
Canlah AI calls itself a premium SEO and GEO agency in Singapore. Its GEO service page says the work is "delivered by an AI agent workforce under human strategy oversight", and its About page profiles three founders: Haoyang Pang (CEO and founder), David Chu and Angel Chen (co-founders). It says it grew out of the founders' brand-content work under the CanMarket name. A registry listing based on ACRA data shows CANLAH AI PTE. LTD. as a live company, incorporated on 19 March 2026.
It sells on a monthly basis. You pick a tier by how many AI tools and buyer questions you want tracked, and it re-tests every month. It also sells a paid audit, DeepAudit, and a self-run software plan, Canlah All-Stars, that clients can move to after three months of the agency service.
ThriveFinity sells AI search optimisation (GEO) as defined pieces of work: a free Signal, a fixed-price AI Presence service, an AI Visibility service priced by estimate from a published starting price, and an optional monthly AI Growth plan. We're a one-person company registered in Chennai, India, and we work with B2B companies in the UK, Singapore and elsewhere. A named verifier signs every paid report.
So the first question is whether you want a subscription that keeps measuring a short list of questions, or a project that measures a long list once, fixes what it finds and checks again.
Side-by-Side Comparison
The table lines up what each firm publishes on the same twelve points. Canlah AI's column summarises its own pages.
| Canlah AI | ThriveFinity | |
|---|---|---|
| How it describes itself | A premium SEO and GEO agency in Singapore, delivered by an AI agent workforce under human strategy oversight | A fixed-scope studio for AI search work. A named verifier signs every paid report |
| Company | CANLAH AI PTE. LTD., UEN 202612231Z, incorporated in Singapore on 19 March 2026 (ACRA data) | ThriveFinity (OPC) Private Limited, a one-person company registered in Chennai, India |
| Work it lists | Answer measurement, on-site AI readability (answer capsules, schema, an AI-facts page, llms.txt), off-site authority (review platforms, disclosed community posts), an evidence archive. SEO in the Growth and Full tiers | Diagnosis on 100 to 150 buyer questions, your 10 highest-value pages fixed, 5 briefs for new pages, AI-crawler access fixes and a re-test at day 30. AI Growth adds pages, content and authority work each month |
| AI tools tracked | Starter: ChatGPT. Growth: ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews. Full: those two plus Google AI Mode and Gemini | Free Signal: GPT (OpenAI), Claude, Gemini, Perplexity. Paid work: ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews |
| Buyer questions tracked | 4 (Starter), 8 (Growth) or 16 (Full) | 12 in the free Signal. 100 to 150 in paid work |
| Runs per question | Several times per engine, in at least three phrasings | Each question asked 3 times in each AI tool |
| Reporting cadence | Monthly report and re-test, quarterly question review | Baseline report, then a re-test at day 30. Monthly with AI Growth, or quarterly with Quarterly Re-measurement |
| Prices published | Starter from $1,500 a month. Growth from $3,000 a month. Full scoped on a call. DeepAudit $99 (one read) or $189 (two reads). The page doesn't say which currency $ means | Signal free. AI Presence £849 (US$1,099). AI Visibility from £2,250 (US$2,949). AI Growth from £2,250 (US$2,949) a month. Quarterly Re-measurement £595 (US$799) |
| Billed separately | Off-site execution and media spend | Nothing beyond the agreed estimate. We don't buy links or placements |
| Minimum term | Not published. Its terms say the term is set in each proposal and either party may end the agreement at any time | AI Growth: 3 months, then 30 days' notice. AI Presence and AI Visibility are one-off |
| Written commitment | AI names you at least 30% more often than at your own baseline, counted per 100 asks on the same questions. It says it never guarantees rankings or a #1 position | Accuracy Commitment: a factual error in a signed report is corrected within 5 working days, or that fee is refunded or credited. No promise that any AI tool will name you |
| Who it says it's for | Brands across Southeast Asia and globally. Sector pages for restaurants, education, B2B SaaS, Chinese-language brands, dental and law | B2B companies whose buyers ask AI tools for a shortlist |
"Not published" means the pages we checked didn't say. Canlah AI's prices are from its pricing page, which shows them with a $ sign and no currency code. Our prices come from our published pricing. They're set in each currency rather than converted, exclude tax, and businesses billed in Singapore pay in USD.
What Canlah AI Publishes About Its GEO Work
Canlah AI publishes more about its method than most agencies do. Its GEO page splits the work into on-site and off-site parts.
On-site, it lists short answer passages of 40 to 60 words at the top of key pages, structured data for your organisation, services and FAQs, an AI-facts page and an llms.txt file. Google's own guidance is worth reading next to that list:
You don't need to create new machine readable files, AI text files, or markup to appear in these features.
That doesn't make an llms.txt file harmful. It's cheap to add. It just means you shouldn't pay much for it, from any provider. Ask what each on-site item is expected to change and how you'd see it.
Off-site, Canlah AI says it builds presence on the review platforms AI tools cite, naming G2, Capterra and Clutch, and takes part in communities such as Reddit under a disclosed, affiliated identity. It also says it doesn't run undisclosed community accounts under any circumstances. Whoever you hire, get that rule into the contract.
Two cost details sit in the small print of its pricing page. Off-site execution and media spend are billed separately, with scope confirmed in writing before you pay. And the DeepAudit fee can be credited towards its agency services, but not towards the All-Stars software plan.
Its site also has a long list of Singapore guide pages, with titles such as AI SEO agency Singapore, LLM SEO Singapore and answer engine optimisation Singapore, plus sector guides for clinics, dental practices and law firms. In our test, described below, canlah.ai was the website the AI tools cited most often. We can't tell from one test why that is.
What I couldn't find: a minimum term, a notice period, or what happens if the 30% bar is missed. Its terms page, updated on 25 October 2026, says fees, billing, term and refunds are set in each proposal, that either party may end the agreement at any time, and that Singapore law governs. So the proposal is where those answers will be.
How Each One Measures Results
Measurement is where GEO proposals differ most, because AI tools rarely give the same answer twice.
In January 2026, SparkToro and Gumshoe had 600 volunteers run 12 prompts through ChatGPT, Claude and Google's AI a combined 2,961 times. Rand Fishkin reported a chance of less than 1 in 100 that ChatGPT or Google's AI would give the same list of brands in any two responses to the same prompt. Getting the same list in the same order was closer to 1 in 1,000.
So a single run of each question tells you very little. You want a rate, such as named in 7 of 10 runs, measured the same way before and after the work.
Both firms say they work that way. Canlah AI's GEO page describes a locked question set, each question asked several times on every AI tool in your tier and in at least three phrasings, with results reported as ranges against your baseline and a raw archive of every answer. It says the first credible read comes at about day 90. Its tier description also mentions each question asked 5 to 10 ways, so ask which figure applies to your plan.
We ask each of 100 to 150 buyer questions 3 times in each of five AI tools: ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews. Then we run the same set again at day 30. If you take AI Growth, the same questions keep running each month.
The trade-off is breadth against depth over time. Canlah AI's Starter tier watches one AI tool on 4 questions every month. Our AI Visibility service watches five tools on 100 to 150 questions, but only twice unless you continue. None of Canlah AI's tiers lists Claude or Perplexity. We don't track Google AI Mode, which its Full tier does. If you want the maths behind runs and ranges, I go through it in measuring AI share of voice.
When Canlah AI Is the Better Choice
Canlah AI is the better choice when you want a provider in Singapore to run the work every month, including the off-site part. These are the situations where I'd point you there rather than to us.
- You want someone on the ground in Singapore. It's a Singapore company under Singapore law. We have no office or staff there, and Chennai is two and a half hours behind Singapore.
- You want an outcome bar in writing. Its pricing FAQ says it commits in writing to a 30% relative lift in how often AI names you against your own baseline. We don't make any promise about what AI tools will say.
- Google AI Mode matters to your buyers. Its Full tier tracks it. We don't.
- You want off-site work done for you every month. It lists review platforms and disclosed community posts as part of the service. We don't pay for links or placements, and our off-site work is the profile work in AI Presence and the authority actions in AI Growth.
- You sell in one of its sectors. It publishes guides for restaurants, education, B2B SaaS, Chinese-language brands, clinics, dental practices and law firms.
- You want to run it yourself later. Its All-Stars software plan is offered after three months of the agency service.
The usual questions apply to any monthly programme. Pin down the currency, the full monthly total including off-site work, the minimum term and the notice period in the proposal.
Questions to Ask Any Provider
Ask every provider the same questions and get the answers in writing. Google's hiring advice is a good start:
If they guarantee you that their changes will give you first place in search results, find someone else.
The same page suggests asking what results to expect and in what timeframe, how success is measured, and whether they'll share every change they make to your site. Then add the GEO questions:
- Which buyer questions will you track, and can I see the full list before we start?
- Which AI tools do you test, and how many times do you run each question?
- When is the re-test, and will it use exactly the same questions and settings as the baseline?
- What exactly will you change, and what's billed on top of the monthly fee?
- Which currency is the price in, what's the minimum term and what's the notice period?
- What happens if a report contains a factual error, or a written target is missed?
The longer version, with red flags, is in our GEO agency buyer's guide. Before any of these calls, get a baseline. My guide to running an AI visibility check shows how to do one yourself.
How We Wrote This Comparison
Why Canlah AI and not another firm? When we asked ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity best AI visibility agencies in Singapore three times each on 31 October 2026, Canlah AI was named in 6 of 12 answers, and across all our Singapore answers canlah.ai was the most-cited source, 17 times. ThriveFinity was named in none of the 12. We ran the test through each provider's API (gpt-5.4-mini, claude-haiku-5-5, gemini-3.5-flash and Perplexity's sonar), so the consumer apps may answer differently.

Source: ThriveFinity AI-answer test, method on this page, 31 October 2026. Four AI tools, three runs each, one day. Shows how often each firm was named, not how good it is. Chart by ThriveFinity.
That count shows how often the tools named each firm on one day. It doesn't rank quality, and the same test next week could come out differently.
This page names a competitor, so we hold it to the UK's rules on comparative advertising. Section 3 of the CAP Code says a comparison with an identifiable competitor must compare products meeting the same needs and objectively compare material, relevant, verifiable and representative features. So every fact about Canlah AI links to the page it came from and is dated. I haven't repeated its case results, client logos or reviews, because I can't verify them and quoting them would only repeat its marketing.

Where ThriveFinity Fits
We fit when you want AI search work as a defined job with a known price and a measured before and after, across five AI tools. Every price below comes from our pricing page and is shown in GBP and USD.
- AI Presence Signal (free, under an hour): 12 buyer questions across GPT (OpenAI), Claude, Gemini and Perplexity, scored 0 to 100. It's automated and unsigned.
- AI Presence (£849 (US$1,099), 5 working days): a signed fact sheet, a scored audit and up to 10 profiles created or aligned in your name, re-scored at day 30. See what AI Presence covers.
- AI Visibility (from £2,250 (US$2,949), 10 working days): 100 to 150 buyer questions across five AI tools, your 10 highest-value pages fixed, 5 briefs for new pages and a re-test at day 30. Signed by a named verifier, with the Accuracy Commitment.
- AI Growth (from £2,250 (US$2,949) a month) or Quarterly Re-measurement (£595 (US$799)): after AI Visibility, if you want ongoing tracking. AI Growth has a 3-month minimum, then 30 days' notice.
We're not the right choice if you want a team in Singapore, if Google AI Mode is your priority, if you want monthly off-site posting done for you, or if you want a written target for how often AI names you. Canlah AI offers each of those. We also don't buy links or placements. Our sample AI visibility report shows exactly what you'd get, and every comparison we've written is on the comparisons hub.
