MediaPlus Digital suits a Singapore company that wants AI search handled by the same local team that builds its website, runs its SEO and manages its ads, on a monthly programme. ThriveFinity, which is us, suits a B2B company that wants AI search as a separate job: a diagnosis of 100 to 150 buyer questions across five AI tools, fixes to its own pages and a re-test at day 30, with a published price in GBP and USD. The main differences are how much of your marketing each takes on and how much each publishes about its measurement.
Before either call, it's worth knowing that Google's page on whether you need an SEO, last updated in June 2026, tells you to ask anyone selling AEO or GEO services whether their advice lines up with Google's own guidance. Ask us that too.
Facts about MediaPlus Digital come from its own website, as published on 31 October 2026. Services, prices and terms change, so check its site before you decide. We have a commercial interest in this comparison and we're not affiliated with MediaPlus Digital. Where its pages are silent, the table says "not published". That doesn't mean it doesn't offer the thing. Ask.
An Agency Programme or a Fixed-Scope Job
The two firms sell the same outcome, being found and named in AI answers, through very different shapes of work.
MediaPlus Digital describes itself on its homepage as a full-service web design and digital marketing agency in Singapore, and the same page says it has been results driven since 2013. Its menu runs from website design, maintenance and ecommerce builds to SEO, AI SEO and GEO, Google and social ads, ChatGPT ads and grant support. Its About page says its web design and digital marketing teams are fully in-house, and lists offices in Singapore, Malaysia, Australia, China and Hong Kong. The copyright line names the company as MediaPlus Digital Pte Ltd.
Its GEO work sits on top of SEO. Its AI SEO page says the service is built on strong SEO foundations, and it offers a smaller GEO add-on for businesses that already have an SEO programme and want a focused AI visibility workstream.
ThriveFinity sells AI search optimisation (GEO) on its own: a free Signal, a fixed-price AI Presence service, an AI Visibility service priced by estimate from a published starting price, and an optional monthly AI Growth plan. We're a one-person company registered in Chennai, India, working with B2B companies in the UK, Singapore and elsewhere. We don't build websites or run ads.
So the real question is whether you want one team for the whole job, or a specialist for the AI part alongside whoever runs your site.

"Not published" means the pages we checked didn't say. MediaPlus Digital publishes its prices in Singapore dollars and calls them indicative. Our prices come from our published pricing. They're set in each currency rather than converted, exclude tax, and businesses billed in Singapore pay in USD.
What MediaPlus Digital Publishes About Its GEO Work
MediaPlus Digital's AI SEO page lists eight parts to the service. They are an AI visibility audit, entity optimisation, schema and structured data, answer-first content, authority and digital PR, AI-crawler readiness, a hybrid SEO and GEO plan, and tracking and reporting. The page says the aim is to make a brand easier to find, understand and cite.
Most of that list overlaps with good SEO, and Google says as much about its own AI features:
There are no additional requirements to appear in AI Overviews or AI Mode, nor other special optimizations necessary.
That's why an agency that already runs your SEO has a head start. The parts that are new are the measurement of AI answers and the off-site work that gets you mentioned on the sites AI tools read. MediaPlus Digital lists authority and digital PR for the second.
It's also plain about limits. The page says nobody can guarantee a citation, and its FAQ says no agency controls which brands an AI platform mentions or which pages it cites. It tells you to treat the first 90 days as an implementation and learning period. I'd agree with all three points.
It publishes prices too. The AI SEO page lists, as indicative, a GEO add-on from about S$1,000 a month, a core programme from S$2,500 a month and custom enterprise scope. A written proposal then confirms pricing, inclusions, GST treatment and contract terms. Its homepage FAQ separately lists website builds from S$4,800 for a starter site and S$12,000 for a growth site, with a typical launch in 4 to 8 weeks.
Grant support comes up on both pages. MediaPlus Digital mentions what it calls the EDGE Grant. Enterprise Singapore's page for the Enterprise Development Grant says that grant can fund third-party consultancy fees, at up to 50% of eligible costs for local SMEs, for businesses registered and operating in Singapore with at least 30% local shareholding. The two pages use different names, so check with Enterprise Singapore which scheme applies before you count on it. We haven't checked whether our work would qualify for any Singapore grant.
What I couldn't find: how many buyer questions it tracks, how many times each is run, whether Claude is tested, and the minimum term.
How Each One Measures Results
Measurement is where AI search proposals differ most, because AI tools rarely give the same answer twice.
In January 2026, SparkToro and Gumshoe had 600 volunteers run 12 prompts through ChatGPT, Claude and Google's AI a combined 2,961 times. Rand Fishkin reported a chance of less than 1 in 100 that ChatGPT or Google's AI would give the same list of brands in any two responses to the same prompt. Getting the same list in the same order was closer to 1 in 1,000.
That's why the number of runs matters. One run of each question is closer to an anecdote than a measurement. A rate across several runs, measured the same way before and after, is what you can act on.
MediaPlus Digital's AI SEO page says it compares a repeatable set of buyer questions over time, recording the engine, date, market, brand mentions and linked citations. It also tracks AI referrals it can identify and reviews all of it alongside organic performance and tracked enquiries. That last part is useful. AI referrals and enquiries are closer to revenue than mention counts.
We ask each of 100 to 150 buyer questions 3 times in each of five AI tools: ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews. We count how often you're named, recommended and described correctly against 3 to 5 competitors, record the sources the tools cite, then run the same set again at day 30. If you take AI Growth, the same questions keep running monthly.
So ask MediaPlus Digital for the size of its question set and the runs per question, and ask us how we'd connect the counts to your enquiries. I explain why runs matter in why a visibility score needs a confidence interval.
When MediaPlus Digital Is the Better Choice
MediaPlus Digital is the better choice when AI search is one part of a bigger job and you want one Singapore team to run all of it. These are the situations where I'd point you there rather than to us.
- Your website needs rebuilding. It designs and builds sites and lists published starting prices for them. We don't build sites, and our AI Visibility service doesn't include a redesign.
- You want SEO, GEO and paid ads under one roof. Its menu covers Google, social and ChatGPT ads as well as SEO. We do none of the paid side.
- You already run SEO and just want an AI workstream added. Its GEO add-on is aimed at exactly that, from about S$1,000 a month.
- You want a local team. It's based at Paya Lebar Square in Singapore. We have no office or staff there, and Chennai is two and a half hours behind Singapore.
- You're expanding across the region. It lists offices in Malaysia, Australia, Hong Kong and China.
- Grant support matters. It helps clients with the grant it calls the EDGE Grant. We can't offer that.
The trade-off with any agency that does everything is the usual one. Get the AI-specific scope, the question set and the minimum term written into the proposal, so the GEO work doesn't blur into the SEO retainer.
Questions to Ask Any Provider
Ask every provider the same questions and get the answers in writing. Google's hiring advice covers the basics:
If they guarantee you that their changes will give you first place in search results, find someone else.
The same page suggests asking what results to expect and in what timeframe, how success is measured, and whether they'll share every change they make to your site. Then add the questions that are specific to AI search:
- How many buyer questions will you track, and can I see the full list before we start?
- Which AI tools do you test, and how many times do you run each question?
- When is the re-test, and will it use exactly the same questions and settings as the baseline?
- Which parts of the fee are AI search work and which are SEO or content?
- What's the minimum term, the notice period and the GST treatment?
- What happens if a report contains a factual error?
The longer version, with red flags, is in our GEO agency buyer's guide. Before the calls, run your own baseline. My guide to running an AI visibility check shows how.
How We Wrote This Comparison
Why MediaPlus Digital? When we asked ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity best AI visibility agencies in Singapore three times each on 31 October 2026, MediaPlus Digital was named in 6 of 12 answers. ThriveFinity was named in none of the 12. We ran the test through each provider's API (gpt-5.4-mini, claude-haiku-5-5, gemini-3.5-flash and Perplexity's sonar), so the consumer apps may answer differently.

Source: ThriveFinity AI-answer test, method on this page, 31 October 2026. Four AI tools, three runs each, one day. Shows how often each firm was named, not how good it is. Chart by ThriveFinity.
That count shows how often the tools named each firm on one day. It doesn't rank quality, and the same test next week could come out differently.
This page names a competitor, so we hold it to the UK's rules on comparative advertising. Section 3 of the CAP Code says a comparison with an identifiable competitor must compare products meeting the same needs and objectively compare material, relevant, verifiable and representative features. So every fact about MediaPlus Digital links to the page it came from and is dated. I haven't repeated its client names, counters, ratings or awards, because I can't verify them from here and quoting them would only repeat its marketing.

Where ThriveFinity Fits
We fit when you want AI search as a defined job with a known price, tested across five AI tools and measured before and after. Every price below comes from our pricing page and is shown in GBP and USD.
- AI Presence Signal (free, under an hour): 12 buyer questions across GPT (OpenAI), Claude, Gemini and Perplexity, scored 0 to 100. It's automated and unsigned.
- AI Presence (£849 (US$1,099), 5 working days): a signed fact sheet, a scored audit and up to 10 profiles created or aligned in your name, re-scored at day 30.
- AI Visibility (from £2,250 (US$2,949), 10 working days): 100 to 150 buyer questions across five AI tools, your 10 highest-value pages fixed, 5 briefs for new pages and a re-test at day 30. Signed by a named verifier, with the Accuracy Commitment.
- AI Growth (from £2,250 (US$2,949) a month) or Quarterly Re-measurement (£595 (US$799)): after AI Visibility, if you want ongoing tracking. AI Growth has a 3-month minimum, then 30 days' notice.
We're not the right choice if you need a new website, paid ads, a team in Singapore or help with a grant. MediaPlus Digital covers each of those. We also don't buy links or placements, and we won't promise that any AI tool will name you. Our sample AI visibility report shows exactly what you'd get, and every comparison we've written is on the comparisons hub.
