When we asked ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity best AI visibility agencies in the US three times each on 31 October 2026, five firms came up in half or more of the 12 answers: Omniscient Digital and WebFX (7 each), then First Page Sage, Siege Media and NoGood (6 each). They sell the same broad service in very different shapes, from $3,000 a month on a 6-month commitment at WebFX to full-service engagements from $120,000 a year at Omniscient Digital. ThriveFinity, which is us, wasn't named in any of the US answers. So read this as a buyer's map written by a firm that isn't on the AI shortlist yet.
Below, you'll find what each firm publishes on its own site about what it sells, where it's based, its price and its minimum term. Then how to choose, the questions to ask, what our test does and doesn't show, and a short section on go-to-market help, where the AI tools named a different set of firms.
Facts about every firm come from its own website, as published on 31 October 2026. Services and prices change, so check each site before you decide. We have a commercial interest in this page, because we sell AI search optimisation and go-to-market work, and we're not affiliated with any firm listed. Where a firm's pages are silent, the table says "not published". That doesn't mean it doesn't offer the thing. Ask.
The Firms AI Tools Named for the US, Side by Side
The table has the eight firms named three or more times across our two US questions, plus us. The count is how often the AI tools named each firm in 12 answers to one question. It isn't a ranking of quality. The first five rows answer the AI visibility question and the next three the go-to-market question.
| Firm | Named in | What it sells | Base | Published price | Minimum term | Our comparison |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Omniscient Digital | 7 of 12 (AI visibility) | An organic growth agency for B2B brands. Answer engine optimisation sits next to SEO, content, digital PR and link building | Distributed team of 30+ in 10 countries, offices listed in five US cities | Full-service engagements from $120,000 a year | Not published | ThriveFinity vs Omniscient Digital |
| WebFX | 7 of 12 (AI visibility) | A digital marketing agency with a GEO service and its own AI tracking platform, OmniSEO, plus ads, CRO, web design and CRM | Founded 1996, 750 staff, offices in five US cities | GEO tiers from $3,000 a month (50 prompts) to $68,250 a month | 6-month commitment | ThriveFinity vs WebFX |
| First Page Sage | 6 of 12 (AI visibility) | An SEO and GEO agency focused on lead generation, also selling content, demand generation and fractional CMO work | A remote agency working across the US | No pricing page found. Its own October 2026 report lists it at $6,000 to $12,000 a month | Month-to-month (its report) | ThriveFinity vs First Page Sage |
| Siege Media | 6 of 12 (AI visibility) | A content-led GEO agency: research reports, digital PR, Reddit presence, affiliate partnerships and page refreshes | Offices in Austin, Chicago, New York and San Francisco | Not published | Not published. Its GEO page asks for a 6+ month horizon | ThriveFinity vs Siege Media |
| NoGood | 6 of 12 (AI visibility) | An AI-native growth marketing agency. AEO is one service among SEO, paid media, content, CRO and fractional CMO | Headquartered in New York, hubs in Miami and Dubai | No packages. | Winning by Design | 5 of 12 (go-to-market) | Revenue architecture consulting for recurring-revenue businesses, plus training and a paid membership | Team page lists 50+ people in 10 countries | Company engagements quoted by scope. Growth Institute membership $2,500 a year | Not published | ThriveFinity vs Winning by Design |
| Olivine | 3 of 12 (go-to-market) | A product marketing agency for B2B SaaS: positioning, go-to-market strategy, sales enablement, website copy, fractional marketers | Founded 2016. Headquarters not published | Agency and fractional rates not published | Fractional work renews monthly, 30 days notice | ThriveFinity vs Olivine |
| Kalungi | 3 of 12 (go-to-market) | A B2B SaaS marketing agency: an associate CMO, a go-to-market roadmap and a team that runs the execution | Kirkland, Washington | Full Service from $50,000+ a month | Not published | No comparison page yet |
| ThriveFinity (us) | 0 of 12 on both questions | AI search optimisation (GEO) sold as fixed-scope work, plus the Decision Brief and Go-to-Market Build | One-person company registered in Chennai, India | AI Presence £849 ($1,099). AI Visibility from £2,250 ($2,949). AI Growth from £2,250 ($2,949) a month | AI Visibility is one job. AI Growth: 3 months, then 30 days notice | This is us |
"Not published" means the pages we checked didn't say. Counts are from our AI-answer test on 31 October 2026 (method in the section on what the test is and is not). ThriveFinity prices show GBP with the set USD price in brackets. US companies are billed in USD, plus applicable taxes.
Two things stand out. Every one of the five AI visibility firms sells AI search work as part of a wider agency menu, and most of them price it as a monthly or yearly programme. If you want a team on retainer, that's a strength. If you want one defined job first, it narrows your choice.
How Many US Buyers Search for This
US demand for these terms is modest in absolute numbers but clearly bigger than in the other markets we tested. DataForSEO estimated the monthly Google searches for our seed terms in the US on 31 October 2026. For comparison, the same source put ai seo agency at 480 a month in the UK.
| ai seo agency | 1,600 |
|---|---|
| ai visibility | 880 |
| llm seo | 720 |
| geo agency | 590 |
| chatgpt seo | 320 |
| go to market strategy consultant | 140 |
Source: DataForSEO keyword data, pulled in our 31 October 2026 test (method in this page), 31 October 2026. Modelled estimates, not counts. A company's own Search Console data wins any conflict. Chart by ThriveFinity.
What we observed. DataForSEO also models how often a term is asked inside AI tools. It put chatgpt seo at 320 Google searches a month but 3,195 in AI search, and ai visibility at 245. The domains ranking on Google for our 12 seed terms were led by YouTube, Reddit, Semrush, Neil Patel, Quora, Ahrefs, Brafton and Backlinko. None of the five most-named agencies was in that list. In the AI answers themselves, clutch.co was cited 14 times.
What it suggests. The AI tools seem to build US agency shortlists from directories and roundups more than from the agencies' own rankings. That's an inference from one day's answers, not something the test proved.
What to do next. When you research agencies, look at the directory profiles and review pages the AI tools cite, not only at the agencies' websites. Read the reviews at the source, and remember that a directory listing is something an agency chooses to maintain.
What the Five Most-Named Agencies Publish
The five AI visibility firms publish very different amounts about price, and they price in different units. That makes a straight comparison harder than it looks.
WebFX publishes the most. Its GEO service page has a full ladder of monthly tiers, from Bronze at $3,000 to Enterprise+ at $68,250, labelled Progressive Monthly Optimization with a 6-month commitment. Bronze tracks 50 prompts across what its table calls 10 AI answer engines. Its FAQ says plainly that WebFX doesn't guarantee placements in AI search.
Omniscient Digital's answer engine optimization page says full-service engagements start at $120,000 a year. It lists buyer demand modelling, a visibility baseline, competitive and source analysis, technical and content foundations, a roadmap, execution and measurement. It names ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini as the tools buyers ask.
First Page Sage has no pricing page that we could find. Its own GEO and AEO pricing report, published on 7 October 2026, lists First Page Sage at $6,000 to $12,000 a month, priced in monthly deliverable credits, on month-to-month terms. That's the firm reporting on itself, so ask for a written quote.
Siege Media doesn't publish prices. Its GEO service page offers a free assessment, sets out a phased programme from a foundation stage in months one and two to monthly reporting after month four, and says it fits brands that can commit to a 6+ month horizon. It tracks LLM share of voice in your category prompts monthly.
NoGood doesn't sell packages. Its homepage FAQ says engagements are monthly retainers and that its average retainer is above $20,000 a month. That average covers its work in general, not AEO alone. It's headquartered in New York with hubs in Miami and Dubai.
Google's own guidance is worth holding next to any of these service descriptions:
There are no additional requirements to appear in AI Overviews or AI Mode, nor other special optimizations necessary.
That covers Google's AI features, not ChatGPT or Claude. It's still a reason to expect sound SEO underneath any GEO proposal, and most of these firms sell SEO alongside it. I explain where the two overlap in what generative engine optimisation is.
How to Choose Between Them
Start with the unit you're buying, because it decides the rest. A monthly programme buys a team's time and ongoing tracking. A defined job buys a stated output by a stated date. Neither is better in general. They suit different situations.
Then work out the total over the minimum term, because a monthly figure hides the commitment. On WebFX's published Bronze price, six months comes to $18,000 before add-ons. That's my arithmetic on its figures, and it assumes you stay on Bronze. Omniscient Digital's floor is $120,000 a year. Where a firm doesn't publish a term, ask for it in writing with the notice period.
After cost, these are the points I'd weigh:
- The question list. A firm can only report on the prompts it tracks, so ask to see the list and who chose it. WebFX states a prompt count per tier. The others we checked don't.
- Runs per question. AI answers vary from one run to the next, so one run per prompt tells you little. None of the five states its runs per prompt on the pages we checked.
- Other channels. If you also need paid ads or CRO, WebFX and NoGood list both, and First Page Sage lists web design. If you don't, you may be paying for a bigger menu than you use.
- Who does the work. Ask whether the agency makes changes to your site and content, or hands your team a list.
- What counts as success. Siege Media names LLM share of voice and AI-referral traffic. WebFX names citations, mentions, leads and revenue. Agree the measure before you sign.
If you're early and unsure whether AI tools mention you at all, a baseline costs little and makes every sales call sharper. My guide to running an AI visibility check shows how to do one yourself in a working day.
Questions to Ask Any AI Visibility Agency
Ask every firm on your list the same questions and get the answers in writing. Google's advice on hiring an SEO now covers AEO and GEO services too. It says to ask whether their advice lines up with Google Search's official guidance on generative AI features, and it's blunt about guarantees:
If they guarantee you that their changes will give you first place in search results, find someone else.
Then add the questions specific to AI search:
- Which buyer questions will you track, and can I see the full list before we start?
- Which AI tools do you test, and how many times do you run each question?
- Which competitors will you measure us against?
- When is the re-test, and will it use exactly the same questions and settings as the baseline?
- What will you change, and who does the work?
- What does it cost over the full term, and what's the notice period after the minimum?
- What happens if a report contains a factual error?
The longer version, with red flags, is in our GEO agency buyer's guide. It was written for UK buyers, but the questions work in any market.
What Our AI-Answer Test Is and Is Not
The test is a count of mentions. On 31 October 2026 we asked four AI models two US questions, three times each, and counted which firms each answer named. Here's the AI visibility question. The full method is on our methodology page.
| Omniscient Digital | 7 of 12 |
|---|---|
| WebFX | 7 of 12 |
| First Page Sage | 6 of 12 |
| Siege Media | 6 of 12 |
| NoGood | 6 of 12 |
| ThriveFinity | 0 of 12 |
Source: ThriveFinity AI-answer test, method in this section, 31 October 2026. Question: best AI visibility agencies in the US. Four AI models through their APIs, three runs each. A count of mentions, not a ranking of quality. Chart by ThriveFinity.
The models were gpt-5.4-mini, claude-haiku-5-5, gemini-3.5-flash and Perplexity sonar, used through their APIs rather than the consumer apps. The second question was who can help a B2B startup in the US with its go-to-market strategy, asked the same way. Firm names were pulled from the answers automatically, so a firm mentioned only in passing could be missed. We confirmed each listed firm's website ourselves.
What the test is not: a quality ranking, a measure of client results or a stable picture. Twelve answers is a small sample, and it's one day. AI answers also shift a lot between runs. In January 2026, SparkToro and Gumshoe had 600 volunteers run 12 prompts through ChatGPT, Claude and Google's AI 2,961 times, and Rand Fishkin reported a less than 1 in 100 chance that ChatGPT or Google's AI would give the same list of brands twice in 100 runs. That's why a count needs a range around it, which I cover in why a visibility score needs a confidence interval.
We were named in 0 of the 12 US answers to each question, and in 0 of 96 answers across the US, the UAE, Europe and Singapore. In the UK it was 1 of 36.
This page names competitors, so advertising rules apply. Section 3 of the UK CAP Code says a comparison with an identifiable competitor must compare products meeting the same needs and objectively compare material, relevant, verifiable and representative features. Regulation 4 of the Business Protection from Misleading Marketing Regulations 2008 sets the same conditions. In the US, the FTC's policy statement on comparative advertising encourages naming competitors but requires clarity and, where needed, disclosure. So every firm fact here links to its source and is dated, and I haven't repeated any firm's client results, awards or testimonials.

Go-to-Market Help: A Different Set of Names
For the go-to-market question, the AI tools named a separate group of firms. Winning by Design was named in 5 of 12 answers, and Olivine, Kalungi and Refine Labs in 3 each.
Winning by Design's homepage describes helping go-to-market executives at recurring-revenue businesses diagnose revenue inefficiency. It quotes company engagements by scope and publishes a $2,500 annual Growth Institute membership for individuals. Olivine's homepage calls it a full-service product marketing agency for B2B SaaS, founded in 2016, with go-to-market strategy among its services.
Kalungi's Full Service page puts the cost at $50,000+ a month for an associate CMO, a go-to-market roadmap and the team that runs it, aimed at SaaS companies at $5 million to $50 million in annual recurring revenue. Its free 45-minute workshop offers a custom go-to-market plan.
We left Refine Labs out of the table. Its pricing page describes demand generation, paid media and creative for B2B companies at Series B and beyond, and the pages we checked don't use the term go-to-market. Its nearest offer is a 6-week assessment from $35,000 that ends in a 12-month demand plan. That's worth a look if demand generation is your gap. It's different enough from a go-to-market strategy that I haven't put it in the same table.
Our go-to-market work comes in two pieces. The Decision Brief (£749 ($999)) settles one go-to-market decision with graded evidence and a 90-day plan, on a 48-hour target. The Go-to-Market Build (from £3,999 ($5,299)) turns your positioning into a 5-page website, a 20-slide sales deck and a 3-email sequence in 2 weeks. If you need a sales system redesigned or a marketing team run for you, the firms above are built for that and we aren't.
Where ThriveFinity Fits
We fit when you want AI search work bought as a defined job with a known price and a measured before and after, without a long commitment. Every price comes from our published pricing page, in GBP with the set USD price in brackets.
- AI Presence Signal (free, under an hour): 12 buyer questions across GPT (OpenAI), Claude, Gemini and Perplexity, scored 0 to 100. Automated and unsigned.
- AI Presence (£849 ($1,099), 5 working days): a signed fact sheet, a scored audit and up to 10 profiles aligned, credited in full to AI Visibility if you book it within 30 days.
- AI Visibility (from £2,250 ($2,949), 10 working days): 100 to 150 buyer questions, each asked 3 times in five AI tools, your 10 highest-value pages fixed, 5 briefs for new pages and a re-test at day 30.
- AI Growth (from £2,250 ($2,949) a month) or Quarterly Re-measurement (£595 ($799)): ongoing work or tracking after AI Visibility. AI Growth has a 3-month minimum, then 30 days' notice.
We're a one-person company registered in Chennai, India, with no US office. We don't run paid ads, build CRMs or buy links, and we won't promise that any AI tool will name you. Our own test result above shows why nobody should. If you want a large team on a monthly plan, the agencies in the table are set up for that.
We've written the same kind of roundup for AI visibility agencies in the UAE, and every comparison page is listed on the comparisons hub.
